IELTS, is the amazing pathway to your dream country which leads you towards the international achievements. “Ms. Sudarsha,” being my mentor, you taught me that I could achieve more than what I or other people thought that I was capable of. You made me feel authentically supported when you say, “Please let me know how I can be helpful” and genuinely mean it. Also, the excitement you express to co-learn with me rather than teach me, makes me feel like a partner in my learning experience. I know you have so much to share, but I love how you also openly articulate how much I have to share as well and how much you learn by engaging with me! Thanking you kindly…. for enhancing my language proficiency to achieve my international career goals as a nurse. Best complements for my IELTS mentor Ms. SUDARSHA!!!

I am a postgraduate trainee in Anaesthesia, currently working in UK. My training consists of 4 years of local training and 2 years of overseas training, for which I selected UK. IELTS is essential for General Medical Council registration, to practice as a doctor in UK, which is a true challenge while undergoing a busy training along with a family life. I got to know Ms. Sudarsha Vidyasekara, from a doctor, who currently works in Australia. Although at the beginning IELTS seemed to be rather daunting, within couple of days she made it quite simplified with her teaching methods and exam techniques and built up my confidence. Academic writing component is supposed to be a nightmare and obtaining band 7 is not inferior to winning an Olympic medal. To make it worse, I had continued my training in Colombo, and I was unable to participate in classes in last few weeks. At that point, Mrs. Vidyasekara kindly corrected my answers when I sent her them via emails. As a result, I was able to obtain required score (overall 7.5 with band 7 for academic writing), and I am sincerely grateful to Ms. Sudarsha Vidyasekara for her guidance and support.

In three months, I succeeded incredibly increasing my level of English and was able to get the necessary skills to pass the exam. I am Asanka (ASP) and this is why I recommend Ms. Sudarsha Vidyasekara for IELTS coaching; I met Ms. Sudarsha after being in too many places to fulfil my IELTS dream. I did my entrance test to understand my current level at that time, that was the moment I thought I am at the right place. She designed a well-planned course for me after analyzing my strengths and weaknesses from the entrance test. She explained to me each mistake I was doing and guided me through efficient strategies, smart useful tips for all four sections: speaking, listening, reading and writing. She provided me with lots of practice exercises in the class and gave me homework to practice, improve and self-study. Taking lessons with her was really an astonishing experience that has made a dramatic change to my English proficiency level. Taking mock exams (practice tests) and correcting answers as a study method was reinforced my confidence in the final days of the course. Finally, I couldn’t believe my results and I got desired results for my exam because I went to the right place at the right time. Today I am working with the world top companies as an engineer after having successful student life. I was the former president of Swinburne Sri Lankan Students Association and former Emerging Leader Program Ambassador for Swinburne University of Technology, Victoria. I won't have come this far without her advice, support and guidance. I wish I could have had classes with the Ms. Sudarsha earlier. When applying for English speaking countries, whether it is as a permanent resident, a student, or work permit, proficiency in Listening, Reading, Writing and, Speaking English is mandatory. I still remember Ms. Sudarsha, the best IELTS teacher I ever had, who helped me to make my dreams come true and become a permanent resident in Canada. She is very smart, talented, friendly, and attentive to each students’ needs. Ms. Sudarsha will make learning easy and understandable for you. My memory while in her class as an IELTS student, has never faded away. It is because of these classes and Ms. Sudarsha as my teacher, that I am a nursing professional in Canada today. It helped not only me, but also my children, as they are currently attending to one of the best universities in Canada. Be smart, deal with somebody you can trust and rely on.

I joined Ms. Sudarsha’s IELTS class in 2008 having heard from one of my friends that there is a great class with a great teacher. Roughly I went to the class about 2 months. Say for the exam in British council, scored 7.0 overall Listening 7.5 Reading 6.5 Speaking 7.0 and Writing 6.5. Special thanks to Ms. Sudarsha for helping me to achieve it. Because she helped us with no limits. Always sat beside us giving a hand. Gave us so many practice papers and corrected our errors. While doing my studies in Australia, I started working as a kitchen hand as my first job and did some cleaning in the big supermarket on the side. Got a promotion after 3 weeks to the bar. Slowly learned how to make drinks Milkshakes, cocktails, mocktails etc... Coffee is a big industry in Melbourne. By looking at how Australians make coffee, I Slowly learned. Worked for free many days and learned how to make coffee. After couple of years, I was promoted as a barista. Then as an assistant manager, a general manager. After a certain period, I left that place and opened my owned coffee shop in Armadale, Melbourne, called ‘Sakis Coffee’. Then after 2 years, started another coffee shop named Coffee Ministry. And the third shop coming in Collingwood and the 4th coming in Hawthorn, Melbourne, Australia. They all named Coffee Ministry. Thanks to Ms. Sudarsha for all the support. Without your help, I would have been still in Sri Lanka.

I met Ms. Sudarsha back in 2008 when I was planning to study in Australia. The decision was made in June to somehow get enrolled in the February intake. So, Ms. Sudarsha had only three months to prepare me for the exam. After the initial assessment, she mentioned that I am in a position to achieve overall 6 band, but will be able to achieve 7 if I put the effort in. Given the fact that there was not enough time left, I was carefully guided and trained to follow her specialized strategies to maximize the outcome in each of the 4 modules. Even though there were students with different levels of knowledge, she was able to take the best out of them due to her customized approach to each person. After three months, I sat for the IELTS exam and scored an overall band of 8. Since then, I have sat for the exam twice and scored 8 and 7.5 consecutively. Now, I am a permanent resident in Australia and have worked as a chef for the past 11 years and am running a successful hospitality staffing agency since 2018. The strategies that were taught by Ms. Sudarsha has been a great tool not only for my bachelor’s degree but also for my day-to-day business operations. So, I am forever thankful for the guidance and mentorship which helped me to triumph every aspect of my life.

I absolutely loved going to Ms..Sudarsha’s classes every week and I was encouraged for the IELTS exams right from the beginning. We were regularly updated with modifications in exams that took place from time to time and were ready to face any change that may come in the exams apart from the conventional frame. This was truly a valid investment I made for myself and with her constant guidance I scored an overall score of 7.5 which had been most helpful for me in enrolling to a better college, getting a scholarship and finally getting my visa
